Jimeno Quintun did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Fermin Estefan 6 minutes into the match. Albano Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Irrintzi having to interfere. Eliseo Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, CA Leones's goalkeeper Fermin Estefan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by German Rameriz. 18 minutes into the match, Guaymallen FC's Jimeno Quintun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fermin Estefan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Isidro Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Jimeno Quintun took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fermin Estefan to make any attempt to save it. Delmar Tauro kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, German Rameriz notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of CA Leones's Fermin Estefan. Fermin Estefan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmar Tauro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fermin Estefan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Ledesma, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute of the match Ivan Fagondo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fermin Estefan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Ivan Fagondo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fermin Estefan skillfully saved the ball. 56 minutes into the match, CA Leones's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Quintun came free, but Fermin Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Guaymallen FC's Melquiades Ricart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fermin Estefan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a rather tough play, CA Leones's Clodoveo Mancio got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Jimeno Quintun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Leones's Fermin Estefan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Clodoveo Mancio fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Leones's protests and gave Clodoveo Mancio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CA Leones getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Clodoveo Mancio hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jimeno Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaymallen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Quintun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Estefan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fermin Estefan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jimeno Quintun's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Esteban Anaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, CA Leones's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Quintun came free, but Fermin Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Albano Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Rameriz in the 78th minute of play forced CA Leones's goalkeeper Fermin Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fermin Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Rameriz in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Jimeno Quintun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Estefan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Esteban Anaya came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Guaymallen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Anaya couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, CA Leones's Augusto Luke got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ivan Fagondo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fermin Estefan. CA Leones's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 96th minute German Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Estefan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
