Menucos's German Lehen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Ted in the 4th minute of play. Zacarias Daunte struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Luis Ixidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menucos. Anastasio Koldobika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacarias Daunte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Ixidor having to interfere. If Fausto Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Bernasconi's Anastasio Koldobika sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that German Lehen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zacarias Daunte struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Luis Ixidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menucos. With a little luck, Menucos's German Lehen got control of the ball when Anastasio Koldobika tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Fausto Ted got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Menucos getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gabriel Bernebe hit a great ball. Orlando Quinten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Luis Ixidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Zacarias Daunte made the kick off in the second half. If Anastasio Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Daunte had several of the Bernasconi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Luis Ixidor as he didn't even see the shot coming. 58 minutes into the game, Juan Hanni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bernasconi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Menucos the free kick. After 59 played minutes Bernasconi got a freekick which was hit by Juan Hanni. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Menucos's goalkeeper German Lehen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Menucos defense, Fausto Ted kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of German Lehen. The Menucos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that German Lehen should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Ted in the 89th minute of play forced Menucos's goalkeeper German Lehen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias Daunte in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Ixidor saved Bernasconi from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Quinten got free with Luis Ixidor in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
