Celedonio Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Florian having to interfere. Artemio Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Guzman in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Guzman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 64 minutes into the match, Morcilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Guzman came free, but Artemio Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 66th minute when Lino Guzman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Morcilla FC booed when Palacios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Firmo made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Tiburcio Inge sent off a good shot on target.
