Spectators: 6651 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Prospero Senon got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Catenaccio FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Azeari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rigoberto Tercero. Eliseo Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Eguntsenti in the 9th minute of play. Astor Prejun hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Prospero Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Tercero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Tibalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alfonso Luar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Senon in the 34th minute of play forced La Patria FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Luar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Prospero Senon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catenaccio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 40 minutes into the game, Benito Eguntsenti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliseo Azeari. Benito Eguntsenti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Benito Eguntsenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Azeari having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Prospero Senon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Luar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Eguntsenti to make the kick off. Eliseo Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Tercero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Senon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, La Patria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Senon came free, but Alfonso Luar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes, Saturnino Reynardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Patria FC and the Catenaccio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Catenaccio FC booed when La Patria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Reynardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Mauricio Tibalt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prospero Senon in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Luar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mauricio Tibalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Lucado hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Eliseo Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Tercero in the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Rigoberto Tercero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Catenaccio FC's Agustin Oliverios got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prospero Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Reynardo was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, La Patria FC's Saturnino Reynardo got a free kick in the 99th minute. Catenaccio FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matias Pepillo in the 102nd minute. Catenaccio FC's Matias Pepillo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfonso Luar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Catenaccio FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Catenaccio FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
