When Morcilla FC's Tiburcio Inge in 7 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alfonso Luar guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 8 minutes into the match, La Patria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Inge came free, but Alfonso Luar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artemio Florian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Eguntsenti in the 15th minute of the match. La Patria FC's Rigoberto Tercero got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, La Patria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Nayely came free, but Alfonso Luar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Prejun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Artemio Florian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Benito Eguntsenti managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Patria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Eguntsenti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Florian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artemio Florian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Tercero in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Patria FC's zone, Tiburcio Inge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Luar came out of the goal and Tiburcio Inge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Florian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Eguntsenti's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benito Eguntsenti to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiburcio Inge might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Luar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Inge ran back to his position shaking his head. After 56 minutes, Astor Prejun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Patria FC and the Morcilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Patria FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Astor Prejun hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Rene Nayely recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfonso Luar. Rene Nayely showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Tiburcio Inge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Alfonso Luar made a huge save. La Patria FC's Rigoberto Tercero got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Tercero in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Florian saved Morcilla FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Morcilla FC's Emanuel Mitxaut got a free kick in the 70th minute. Benito Eguntsenti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Florian having to interfere. Artemio Florian came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by La Patria FC's Rigoberto Tercero. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Tercero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Artemio Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Eguntsenti in the 86th minute of play. Artemio Florian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Eguntsenti, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rigoberto Tercero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Artemio Florian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
