Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leo Eriz took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Manny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aldo Kaxen. Atahona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermegildo Manny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Leo Eriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aldo Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Kaxen having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Leo Eriz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aldo Kaxen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dario Aznar hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Guillermo Azeari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Fiorella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Eriz in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Kaxen saved Atahona from getting behind. In the 25thth minute of the game Leo Eriz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atahona's Aldo Kaxen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bojkan Kadivec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Urdin in the 28th minute. When Deportivo Fiorella's Leo Eriz in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Deportivo Fiorella were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Aznar to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Leo Eriz made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Atahona's Aldo Kaxen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermegildo Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aldo Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Fiorella's Guillermo Azeari got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Atahona got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Frantzes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Eriz got free with Aldo Kaxen in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 minutes, Leo Eriz made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Atahona's Aldo Kaxen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Dario Aznar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Azeari's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aldo Kaxen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ermegildo Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Aldo Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Atahona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Leoncio to maneuver through the defense. Leo Eriz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Kaxen having to make a save. Gilberto Urdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bojkan Kadivec having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Fiorella left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atahona.
