Enzo Tono was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauricio Tibalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Enzo Tono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Cordario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Higinio Cordario came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Dep Táchira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Cordario couldn't finish the play. Efrain Florian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Efrain Florian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dep Táchira FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Florian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Azeari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Prospero Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Tibalt in the 44th minute of the match. Prospero Senon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Tono having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prospero Senon to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Cordario in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Azeari saved Catenaccio FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Catenaccio FC's zone, Efrain Florian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Azeari came out of the goal and Efrain Florian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Higinio Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Senon in the 63rd minute of the match. Mauricio Tibalt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Enzo Tono when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Prospero Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Godfredo Lucado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Enzo Tono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 71 in the game by Mauricio Tibalt from a close distance when the talented Enzo Tono managed to make a qualified save. Dep Táchira FC's players were relieved. Mauricio Tibalt got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-2 in the right cross in the 71st match minute before Enzo Tono had time to react. Eliseo Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Florian in the 76th minute of the match. Eliseo Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Florian, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Godfredo Lucado charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Dep Táchira FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Catenaccio FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Catenaccio FC.
