Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) Atahona's Dario Aznar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aldo Kaxen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Karmel went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Benedicto Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Urdin in the 9th minute of play. Atahona's Dario Aznar got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Rahué got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Sanduru. After 14 played minutes Nicasio Cordeiro shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Rahué's Benedicto Erramun to catch but Nicasio Cordeiro was lucky. It became 1-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After 16 played minutes Rahué got a freekick which was hit by Dario Vargas. In the 20th minute, Gilberto Urdin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedicto Erramun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Benedicto Erramun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Gilberto Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Gilberto Urdin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atahona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Urdin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dario Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gilberto Urdin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Atahona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Urdin couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute Dario Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Dario Aznar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Benedicto Erramun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilberto Urdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Benedicto Erramun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rahué players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atahona were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Atauri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, one of Atahona:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Rahué a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arnaldo Errapel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atahona's Aldo Kaxen. 2-3. Gilberto Urdin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Benedicto Erramun made a huge save. If Gilberto Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Isaac Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Kaxen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Atauri, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, Atahona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Quinito to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Atauri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Magdaleno during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Rahué:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atahona:s goal. Rahué:s Benedicto Erramun showed great skill when he stopped Nicasio Cordeiro:s penalty. Dario Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Kaxen having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play, Rahué's Isaac Atauri made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Kaxen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Isaac Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rahué's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Atauri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Kaxen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Isaac Atauri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
