In the 20th minute, Ermegildo Manny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Ermegildo Manny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Fiorella's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Manny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alfonso Luar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Alfonso Luar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Eriz's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Ermegildo Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in La Patria FC's zone, Leo Eriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Luar came out of the goal and Leo Eriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the La Patria FC defense, Leo Eriz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Luar. The La Patria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Luar should have stopped the shot. Alfonso Luar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Azeari in the 84th minute of the match. Ermegildo Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Eriz in the 86th minute of play forced La Patria FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Luar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Guillermo Azeari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Luar was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 96th match minute, Deportivo Fiorella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Estevon to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Fiorella walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
