Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dario Aznar kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Chala Técnica F.C. getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mario Mirande hit a great ball. Dario Aznar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cirilo Loiola having to make a save. Cirilo Loiola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Aznar in the 17th minute of the match. Gilberto Urdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cirilo Loiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dario Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atahona's Natalio Frantzes got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, Atahona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Quinito to maneuver through the defense. Christian Ponciano, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Chala Técnica F.C. booed when Atahona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Quinito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Mario Mirande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Kaxen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascual Ado to strike the kick off in the second half. Mario Mirande took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Kaxen. Aldo Kaxen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vicente Merexildo's late challenge caught a Atahona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Pascual Ado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aldo Kaxen, passed just outside the right post. Chala Técnica F.C.'s Cirilo Loiola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Aznar in the 62nd minute of play. Mario Mirande's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Kaxen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Gilberto Urdin scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cirilo Loiola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, one of Atahona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atahona. When the match had been going on for 73 minutes, Chala Técnica F.C.'s Christian Ponciano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aldo Kaxen. In the 78th minute, Nicasio Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Urdin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cirilo Loiola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Gilberto Urdin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atahona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chala Técnica F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Atahona getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chala Técnica F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
