Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Orixe in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Teodor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Elite FC's Zeledon Teodor got control of the ball when Sebastian Elija tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16 played minutes, Elite FC's Baldomiro Basualdo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mateo Perrando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elite FC reached it. La Makina F.C.'s Mateo Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Loreto in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Elite FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Teodor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Elija. After having played for 23 minutes, Leonardo Orixe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Makina F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Orixe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute of the match Arnoldo Costante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Teodor skillfully saved the ball. The attack was good, but when Elias Loreto in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 37 played minutes La Makina F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Dimo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Loreto in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Perrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Elija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Elias Loreto made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ladislao Joanes during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ladislao Joanes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Sebastian Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Orixe in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Teodor saved Elite FC from getting behind. Zeledon Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Costante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Makina F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elite FC the free kick. In the 60th minute of the match Baldomiro Basualdo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Perrando skillfully saved the ball. In the 65th minute Sebastian Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Cesar Jatsu took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Mateo Perrando to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the La Makina F.C. defense, Cesar Jatsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Perrando. The La Makina F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Perrando should have stopped the shot. After 79 minutes, Cesar Jatsu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elite FC and the La Makina F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Elite FC's Cesar Jatsu got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Eliseo Godoy had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 80 minutes, Leonardo Orixe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Makina F.C. and the Elite FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonardo Orixe hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Jatsu got free with Mateo Perrando in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to La Makina F.C. getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bartolo Bihar hit a great ball. Bartolo Bihar charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bartolo Bihar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bartolo Bihar kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Elite FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
