In the 9thth minute of the game Arnulfo Petrigai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Falopa y Fernet's Silverio Ugutz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel Kepa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Francho in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Augusto Obano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Kepa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hilario Francho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Kepa came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Falopa y Fernet's Gerardo Abilio. But to his dismay, Gerardo Abilio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Miguel Kepa made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gerardo Abilio sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, PumaTeam's Miguel Kepa got control of the ball when Gerardo Abilio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eleuterio Tximitx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Miguel Kepa made a huge save. If Danilo Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of PumaTeam booed when Falopa y Fernet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Francho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silverio Ugutz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnulfo Petrigai went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the game, PumaTeam's Arnulfo Petrigai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silverio Ugutz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Arnulfo Petrigai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Danilo Henry notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Falopa y Fernet's Silverio Ugutz. Silverio Ugutz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfonso Resto kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half PumaTeam were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Obano to make the kick off. Arnulfo Petrigai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eleuterio Tximitx hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, PumaTeam's Arnulfo Petrigai ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silverio Ugutz. Silverio Ugutz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Miguel Kepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Obano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Petrigai struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Silverio Ugutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PumaTeam. After a rather tough play, Falopa y Fernet's Clodoveo Orlondon got a free kick in the 71st minute. The long shot by Anier Piarres in the 72nd minute really tested Silverio Ugutz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Silverio Ugutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoveo Orlondon during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcelo Mundo managed to, on his own, get straight through Falopa y Fernet's defense and in the 88th minute placed the ball to the left of Silverio Ugutz. 1-5. Arnulfo Petrigais short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Silverio Ugutz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Falopa y Fernet's zone, Arnulfo Petrigai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Ugutz came out of the goal and Arnulfo Petrigai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PumaTeam's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
