After 23 minutes, Saul Janpier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RIvErPlATE and the Four Horsemen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saul Janpier hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zlatan Palermo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Frutos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nemesio Orkatz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 42nd play minutes Zlatan Palermo shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Fernando Frutos and just under the crossbar into goal. Zlatan Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

If Aquiles Emmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Zlatan Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RIvErPlATE's Fernando Frutos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zlatan Palermo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Fernando Frutos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in RIvErPlATE's zone, Severino Roderigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Frutos came out of the goal and Severino Roderigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Frutos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Four Horsemen's Zlatan Palermo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Zlatan Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Frutos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Zlatan Palermo had several of the RIvErPlATE's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Fernando Frutos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Aquiles Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Frutos having to interfere. After 95 played minutes RIvErPlATE got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Jerano.
