Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnoldo Salvino kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Saul Janpier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arnoldo Salvino fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIvErPlATE's protests and gave Arnoldo Salvino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RIvErPlATE's Arnoldo Salvino got a free kick in the 9th minute. Fernando Frutos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Obano in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Mauro Veremundo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Frutos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Janpier in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Ugutz saved Falopa y Fernet from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosme Jerano during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cosme Jerano kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Fernando Frutos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Obano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute of the match Falopa y Fernet got a corner. RIvErPlATE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodrigo Qwinton ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of RIvErPlATE's goalie and right to Clodoveo Orlondon. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. RIvErPlATE's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 30th minute Augusto Obano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Augusto Obano came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Falopa y Fernet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Obano couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute of the match Falopa y Fernet got a corner. RIvErPlATE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodrigo Qwinton ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mauro Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ciro Oihan shot a long shot in the 41st minute and a light blocked Silverio Ugutz hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. In the 48th minute, Saul Janpier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half RIvErPlATE were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Obano was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, RIvErPlATE's Arnoldo Salvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Ugutz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saul Janpier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Ugutz having to interfere. Apolo Lorencio kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Arnoldo Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74thth minute of the game Gerardo Abilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RIvErPlATE's Fernando Frutos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, RIvErPlATE's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Abilio came free, but Fernando Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RIvErPlATE's Fernando Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Abilio in the 77th minute of play. RIvErPlATE's Cosme Jerano got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Cosme Jerano off the ground. A collision led to RIvErPlATE getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cosme Jerano hit a great ball. Augusto Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Frutos having to interfere. Saul Janpier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes of play, RIvErPlATE's Saul Janpier made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Ugutz was left in no man's land by his defense there! RIvErPlATE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
