But to his dismay, Amancio Estavan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 34 minutes into the match, Bluewolf FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Burni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saul Janpier. After a rather tough play, RIvErPlATE's Nemesio Orkatz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Amancio Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Camilo Teodor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RIvErPlATE and the Bluewolf FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bluewolf FC's Amancio Estavan got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bluewolf FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. RIvErPlATE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bluewolf FC the free kick. A collision led to RIvErPlATE getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Saul Janpier hit a great ball. If Saul Janpier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Bluewolf FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Salvino came free, but Gabriel Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Saul Janpier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nemesio Orkatz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Amancio Estavan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Fernando Frutos made a huge save. The supporters of Bluewolf FC booed when RIvErPlATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Orkatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The RIvErPlATE fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when RIvErPlATE's Arnoldo Salvino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernando Frutos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amancio Estavan in the 91st minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bluewolf FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
