Casimiro Montrell came out and tried to block the shot, but Edelmiro Aureo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 26th minute. In the 30th match minute, Lavalle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Iaki to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Casimiro Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Eder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Emanuel Eder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavalle's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Eder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Montrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Eder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lavalle's Edelmiro Aureo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the game, one of Lavalle:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Casimiro Montrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Eder in the 60th minute of play. Casimiro Montrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Herauso in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lavalle's zone, Carlos Jobo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Lehoi came out of the goal and Carlos Jobo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Malvin in the 79th minute of play forced Lavalle's goalkeeper Osvaldo Lehoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Montrell having to interfere. Salvador Herauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Eder struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Casimiro Montrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavalle. Joaquin Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Lehoi having to interfere.
