In the 12th minute, Almafuerte's Andres Tonio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, boca juniors's goalkeeper Eriberto Michael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Fernendo. Andres Tonio struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Eriberto Michael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almafuerte. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Herensuge in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Kimetz saved Almafuerte from getting behind. Amadeo Kimetz came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by boca juniors's Celso Frantzes. But to his dismay, Celso Frantzes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, boca juniors's Ismael Erauso got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, Andres Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andres Tonio to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Celso Frantzes sped through Almafuerte's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amadeo Kimetz. Eriberto Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Tonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Almafuerte's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Herensuge came free, but Amadeo Kimetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Leopoldo Fernendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Simon Oriol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee showed Fabricio Aureo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, boca juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Aureo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Nestor Herensuge got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 98th minute of the match boca juniors got a corner. Almafuerte's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabricio Aureo ran over to the corner to take the kick. boca juniors's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
