Spectators: 6753 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arnaldo Iliana got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Ganimedes F.C.'s Baltasar Matia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Abancens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nemesio Chorache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Abancens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Iliana's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Guillermo Chinto sped through Ganimedes F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nemesio Chorache. Guillermo Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Chorache having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnaldo Iliana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Octavio Abancens. That made the score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. Nemesio Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Ofelio in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Felix Eufemio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ganimedes F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Eufemio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Abancens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnaldo Iliana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Octavio Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nemesio Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Chinto in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kanario F.C.'s zone, Arnaldo Iliana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Abancens came out of the goal and Arnaldo Iliana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Matia got free with Octavio Abancens in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeo Ofelio was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Lucio Cefero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octavio Abancens skillfully saved the ball. In the 61st minute, Baltasar Matia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ganimedes F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Guillermo Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nemesio Chorache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Ofelio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Baltasar Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arnaldo Iliana came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ganimedes F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Iliana couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Iliana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Abancens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Kanario F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Iliana came free, but Octavio Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltasar Matia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Abancens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Baltasar Matia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Octavio Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Iliana notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Kanario F.C.'s Octavio Abancens. Octavio Abancens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ganimedes F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kanario F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
