Serafino Natanael charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafino Natanael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Serafino Natanael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Livingstone FC's Victorino Gomesano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Txaran in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Saul Txaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Real Livingstone FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gomesano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Mogel. In the 18th minute, Empalme's Esteban Mogel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Mogel got free with Victorino Gomesano in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, Serafino Iraido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Empalme's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Livingstone FC the free kick. Serafino Iraido hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Guaberto Inguma was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Aquiles Urdin fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Livingstone FC's protests and gave Aquiles Urdin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Aquiles Urdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Empalme booed when Real Livingstone FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Natanael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Gomesano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Mogel in the 36th minute. Esteban Mogel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Saul Txaran fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The long shot by Freddy Feliu in the 42nd minute really tested Victorino Gomesano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Esteban Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Txaran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victorino Gomesano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Mogel in the 55th minute of play. If Esteban Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquiles Urdin was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Esteban Mogel struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Victorino Gomesano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empalme. Esteban Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Blanco having to interfere. Victorino Gomesano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Txaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Esteban Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Mogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Gomesano having to interfere. Saul Txaran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Gomesano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Nereo Sein hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Esteban Mogel struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Victorino Gomesano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empalme. Serafino Natanael kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Mogel in the 92nd minute of play forced Real Livingstone FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gomesano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Mogel struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Victorino Gomesano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empalme. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Livingstone FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Empalme.
