A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Ripamonti's Melquiades Celipe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Melquiades Celipe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ripamonti protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Melquiades Celipe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ripamonti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, Kanario F.C.'s Elias Luix got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hilario Estebano. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Amadeo Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kanario F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Ofelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 63 played minutes Ripamonti got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Bastian. Hilario Estebano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Ofelio in the 65th minute of play. Norberto Gomesano struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Octavio Abancens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ripamonti. The crowd rose to their feet as Ripamonti's Florentino Argi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Octavio Abancens. That made the score 2-1 after 69 minutes of play. With a little luck, Kanario F.C.'s Octavio Abancens got control of the ball when Norberto Gomesano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Kanario F.C.'s goalkeeper Octavio Abancens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Gomesano. After a rather tough play, Kanario F.C.'s Astor Rufo got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Ripamonti booed when Kanario F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Arlo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Octavio Abancens. Kanario F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Astor Rufo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilario Estebano having to make a save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
