When Eloy Chinto fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ganimedes F.C.'s protests and gave Eloy Chinto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Ganimedes F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Chinto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ganimedes F.C.'s zone, Eliseo Iliana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Chorache came out of the goal and Eliseo Iliana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Gomesano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nemesio Chorache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nemesio Chorache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Iliana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Iliana in the 22nd minute of play forced Ganimedes F.C.'s goalkeeper Nemesio Chorache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eliseo Iliana came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ripamonti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Iliana couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Iliana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Hilario Estebano made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Norberto Gomesano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ripamonti's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Gomesano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Ripamonti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ganimedes F.C. throughout the match.
