After a defensive mix-up in 9.12.18's zone, Cirilo Onbera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Eleder came out of the goal and Cirilo Onbera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimundo Eleder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Pacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 9.12.18's Erubiel Frisco got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Augusto Selmo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the 9.12.18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Selmo couldn't finish the play. If Cirilo Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Eleder having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Cirilo Onbera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Raimundo Eleder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atilano Gau's late challenge caught a 9.12.18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Gau helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ñoquebe AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Atilano Gau hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Frisco got free with Gilberto Eudoxio in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
