After 10 played minutes Serranos FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Urtun. The supporters of Por Honoris Causa booed when Serranos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Bertin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Braulio Ursino made a precise shot to the right of Remigio Aresti. Por Honoris Causa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Braulio Ursino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Remigio Aresti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Eufemio in the 27th minute of play forced Serranos FC's goalkeeper Amancio Ticho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Llorienzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Remigio Aresti made a huge save. Braulio Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes of play, Serranos FC's Braulio Ursino made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Aresti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodosio Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dario Urtun was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Dario Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Eufemio got free with Amancio Ticho in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Braulio Ursino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Aresti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Dario Urtun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serranos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Urtun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermegildo Abastas kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Melchor Abella fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Por Honoris Causa's protests and gave Melchor Abella a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Por Honoris Causa's zone, Braulio Ursino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Aresti came out of the goal and Braulio Ursino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Serranos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
