After having played for 16 minutes, Erubiel Frisco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 9.12.18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Frisco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Eleder having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Frisco got free with Bonifacio Chinto in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes, Santos Chinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 9.12.18 and the Galaxy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Galaxy booed when 9.12.18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Chinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Koldobika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Raimundo Eleder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in 9.12.18's zone, Benjamin Koldobika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Eleder came out of the goal and Benjamin Koldobika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Galaxy's Bonifacio Chinto got control of the ball when Erubiel Frisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Galaxy's Zacarias Olo got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Erubiel Frisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Erubiel Frisco managed to get in a good position for a shot. 9.12.18's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Frisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Chinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Koldobika's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Raimundo Eleder skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bonifacio Chinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Selmo in the 73rd minute of the match. Erubiel Frisco struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Bonifacio Chinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 9.12.18. Bonifacio Chinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Selmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Erubiel Frisco came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the 9.12.18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Frisco couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Frisco in the 94th minute of play forced Galaxy's goalkeeper Bonifacio Chinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Baristo's late challenge caught a 9.12.18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Baristo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of 9.12.18 booed when Galaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Baristo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Chinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Selmo in the 98th minute of play. The Galaxy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galaxy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
