The referee ignored Galaxy's protests and gave Eulalio Loren a yellow card for diving instead. Eulalio Loren kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Galaxy getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Vladimiro Stephen hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Koldobika in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Orzaize saved Club Atlético Pata Corta from getting behind. Zacarias Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Silvestre Orzaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Baristo. Bonifacio Chinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Francesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Silvestre Orzaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Koldobika, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Lucas Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejo Cugat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bonifacio Chinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Lucas Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Pata Corta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Francesco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Silvestre Orzaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Koldobika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zacarias Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Silvestre Orzaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Galaxy's Igor Palos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvestre Orzaize in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Serafin Quintyn's late challenge caught a Galaxy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Quintyn helped the player get up and apologised. Serafin Quintyn kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Benjamin Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Lucas Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bonifacio Chinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifacio Chinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Lucas Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético Pata Corta's Silvestre Orzaize played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Olo in the 82nd minute of play. Zacarias Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Silvestre Orzaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Orzaize made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Benjamin Koldobika sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Baristo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Orzaize was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejo Cugat in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Chinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Alejo Cugat notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Galaxy's Bonifacio Chinto. Bonifacio Chinto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atlético Pata Corta had won after a very even match.
