Damaso Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Nicolas Txerran fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Remigio Aresti, passed just outside the right post. 21 minutes into the game, Leonardo Fiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Remigio Aresti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, Roversi's Leonardo Fiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigio Aresti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 27th minute, Melchor Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Eufemio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Leonardo Fiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Aresti having to make a save. In the 37th minute, Hermengildo Terciero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonardo Fiz kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leonardo Fiz made the kick off in the second half. Natalio Matteo took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remigio Aresti. Remigio Aresti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Roversi's Leonardo Fiz got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Por Honoris Causa defense, Narciso Ikatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Aresti. The Por Honoris Causa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Aresti should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Porfirio in the 78th minute of play forced Por Honoris Causa's goalkeeper Remigio Aresti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Roversi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Leonardo Fiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Por Honoris Causa booed when Roversi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Edur didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Roversi fully deserved thier win.
