Teo Kismi might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias George. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teo Kismi ran back to his position shaking his head. Teo Kismi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias George having to interfere. Tobias George made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teo Kismi in the 23rd minute. Cuqi F.C's Ruben Bitxintxo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teo Kismi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tobias George made a huge save. When Ruperto Firmo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Cuqi F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Firmo couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramiro Raulo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cuqi F.C's Ulises Ranolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bartolo Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th minute Racing Club were awarded a corner. Teofilo Padro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Racing Club's Teofilo Padro to fire away a dangerous shot which Tobias George despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Cuqi F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Ranolfo to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Teo Kismi made a precise shot to the right of Tobias George. Cuqi F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tobias George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Raulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Palos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Prudencio Blanco made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cuqi F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Racing Club.
