Chañarense FC's Gogo Gabirel got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Rioja having to interfere. If Christian Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to CICLON F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fernan Herrera hit a great ball. Fernan Herrera charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernan Herrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CICLON F.C.'s Fernan Herrera got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, CICLON F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Amor came free, but Amadeo Rioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Christian Geofredo came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Chañarense FC fans jumped to their feet. After 20 played minutes Chañarense FC got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Gabirel. Amadeo Rioja made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Christian Geofredo sent off a good shot on target. After 23 played minutes CICLON F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Sarracino. If Teodoro Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, CICLON F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Amor came free, but Amadeo Rioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CICLON F.C.'s Amadeo Rioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Tonete in the 28th minute of play. Gogo Gabirel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Rioja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Braulio Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CICLON F.C.'s Fernan Herrera got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Fernan Herrera off the ground. The supporters of Chañarense FC booed when CICLON F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amadeo Rioja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Amor's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Zacarias Elia struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Amadeo Rioja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chañarense FC. Christian Geofredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Amadeo Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Gogo Gabirel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amadeo Rioja, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Amadeo Rioja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chañarense FC's Braulio Tonete suffered a fractured collar bone after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a defensive mix-up in CICLON F.C.'s zone, Christian Geofredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Rioja came out of the goal and Christian Geofredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Rioja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 played minutes CICLON F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dante Inocente. After a rather tough play, Chañarense FC's Casper Hofsteenge got a free kick in the 89th minute. Gogo Gabirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Rioja having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Amor in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Rioja saved CICLON F.C. from getting behind. During the 94th minute of the match Sergio Sarracino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sergio Sarracino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th minute, Sergio Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chañarense FC had played much better football throughout.
