Hipolito Honrio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bartolo Palos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. If Bartolo Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, Atlethic Tahiel F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Min to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Bitxintxo in the 20th minute of play forced Atlethic Tahiel F.C.'s goalkeeper Hipolito Honrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cuqi F.C! Tobias George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias George came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlethic Tahiel F.C.'s Gaston Farias. But to his dismay, Gaston Farias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ulises Ranolfo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Ranolfo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cuqi F.C's Ulises Ranolfo got a free kick in the 44th minute. The supporters of Cuqi F.C booed when Atlethic Tahiel F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Ezkerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Palos to make the kick off. Bartolo Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cuqi F.C's Bartolo Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cayetano Baumar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Tobias George made a huge save. Cayetano Baumar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tobias George tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Palos in the 69th minute of play. Tobias George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Farias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Farias in the 74th minute of play forced Cuqi F.C's goalkeeper Tobias George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Atlethic Tahiel F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Min to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gaston Farias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlethic Tahiel F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Farias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias George breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cayetano Baumar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Palos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Honrio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The Cuqi F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atlethic Tahiel F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Atlethic Tahiel F.C..
