In the 7th minute Dante Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Abecia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, CICLON F.C.'s Alejandro Salvino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Selección de Conavir's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Inocente came free, but Vinicio Abecia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes, Sergio Sarracino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CICLON F.C. and the Selección de Conavir players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CICLON F.C. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sergio Sarracino hit a great ball. When Alejandro Salvino came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the CICLON F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Salvino couldn't finish the play. Dante Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Cucao kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Alejandro Salvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Abecia having to interfere. Felix Maule received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Amadeo Rioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CICLON F.C.'s Tomas Ostadar got a free kick in the 45th minute. Amadeo Rioja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Cucao in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dante Inocente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of CICLON F.C. booed when Selección de Conavir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Felix Maule hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hilario Miliano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Selección de Conavir's Vinicio Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Inocente in the 73rd minute of play. Dante Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernan Herrera might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinicio Abecia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernan Herrera ran back to his position shaking his head. Selección de Conavir's Felix Maule got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeo Rioja was a little too slow when Mario Gaskon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-2. Amadeo Rioja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Felix Maule managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selección de Conavir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Maule was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The CICLON F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Selección de Conavir were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
