The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Ruperto Firmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuqi F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Demolition FC the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Cuqi F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Firmo to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Alonzo Pietro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias George showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Cuqi F.C getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Victor Garin hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Tomás Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Demolition FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gaspar Victoro's late challenge caught a Cuqi F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Victoro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Demolition FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gaspar Victoro hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Bartolo Palos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Raul Sabin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bartolo Palos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Raul Sabin made a huge save. If Ruben Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Tomás Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Palos got free with Raul Sabin in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Cuqi F.C booed when Demolition FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Ekialde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demolition FC's Raul Sabin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Bitxintxo in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ruben Bitxintxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Sabin was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Demolition FC's zone, Bartolo Palos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Sabin came out of the goal and Bartolo Palos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruben Bitxintxo made a kick off. Tobias George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A well placed Tomás Cruz short distance shot in the 56th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Tobias George made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Tomás Cruz sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Victor Garin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Cuqi F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Cruz came free, but Tobias George reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Demolition FC's Tomás Cruz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tobias George. That made the score 2-3 after 75 minutes of play. Gaspar Victoro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Demolition FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Bitxintxo came free, but Raul Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Gregorio Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Sabin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Palos in the 90th minute of the match. Raul Sabin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Bitxintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ruben Bitxintxo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Cuqi F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Bitxintxo couldn't finish the play. Demolition FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
