Braulio Tonete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Edgard Leoiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ducós FC's Edgard Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Filipo in the 23rd minute of play. Edgard Leoiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Gabirel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Christian Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Gogo Gabirel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Leoiar. Ducós FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gogo Gabirel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Ducós FC booed when Chañarense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Elia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Teodoro Amor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgard Leoiar skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Ducós FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alberto Fidele hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Zacarias Elia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Leoiar. Ducós FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Elia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Christian Geofredo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Edgard Leoiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chañarense FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Amor couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the game, Chañarense FC's Braulio Tonete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard Leoiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Christian Geofredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Leoiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
