Cuqi F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Bitxintxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartolo Palos came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eleuterio Lorencio could save by the left post. Cuqi F.C's Tobias George played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Lano in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Cuqi F.C's Ruben Bitxintxo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eleuterio Lorencio. Eleuterio Lorencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Casimiro Rocio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimiro Rocio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Fracrau got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Rocio. After 32 minutes, Natalio Asur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuqi F.C and the Fracrau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Americo Elodio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cuqi F.C's Tobias George didn't even have to move. Paolo Lano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jacinto Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuqi F.C's goalkeeper Tobias George, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cuqi F.C's zone, Paolo Lano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias George came out of the goal and Paolo Lano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Bitxintxo to make the kick off. If Bartolo Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcelo Salvadore was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. A collision led to Fracrau getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Marcelo Salvadore hit a great ball. If Ruben Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. In the 64th minute, Paolo Lano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Fidel Etxatxu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fracrau's Eleuterio Lorencio didn't even have to move. After having played for 70 minutes, Bartolo Palos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuqi F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Palos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ruben Bitxintxo sped through Fracrau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eleuterio Lorencio. Cuqi F.C's Bartolo Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fracrau's Paolo Lano got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Paolo Lano off the ground. A collision led to Fracrau getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Paolo Lano hit a great ball. When Casimiro Rocio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Casimiro Rocio kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fracrau's goalkeeper Eleuterio Lorencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ruperto Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ruben Bitxintxo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Cuqi F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Bitxintxo couldn't finish the play. Fracrau's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
