Ovidio Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Sabin having to interfere. After some careless play in the Universitario defense, Herminio Caetano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Ramirez. The Universitario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Ramirez should have stopped the shot. Eliseo Mero hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ruben Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Caetano, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Herminio Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herminio Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demolition FC's Raul Sabin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Sotero in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Caetano came free, but Ruben Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gaspar Victoro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruben Ramirez, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Victoro in the 58th minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Ruben Ramirez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Ramirez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Cruz in the 76th minute of the match. Universitario's Eliseo Mero managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gregorio Balesio in the 85 minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, Demolition FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Victoro to maneuver through the defense. When Eliseo Mero came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Universitario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mero couldn't finish the play. Ruben Ramirez was a little too slow when Sergio Ekialde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-4.
