Ramiro Raulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Raulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Teo Jayvier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Racing Club's Prudencio Blanco got control of the ball when Bartolo Palos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruben Bitxintxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Prudencio Blanco made a huge save. A hard shot by Fidel Etxatxu from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Prudencio Blanco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ramiro Raulo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tobias George tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ruben Bitxintxo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cuqi F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Bitxintxo couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute Ruben Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Wilfredo Iyan got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Bartolo Palos might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prudencio Blanco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartolo Palos ran back to his position shaking his head. Prudencio Blanco was a little too slow when Ruben Bitxintxo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Raulo to make the kick off. Bartolo Palos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Blanco having to interfere. Teo Kismi struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Tobias George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. In the 61st minute Ruben Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuqi F.C's Ruben Bitxintxo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ruben Bitxintxo sped through Racing Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prudencio Blanco. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Tobias George successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruperto Firmo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Ruperto Firmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cuqi F.C's Tobias George played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Raulo in the 87th minute of play. Teo Kismi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias George having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cuqi F.C's zone, Teo Kismi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias George came out of the goal and Teo Kismi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cuqi F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Racing Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
