The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of La Isabella F.C booed when Schumpeter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Birila was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Omar Hori showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. When Felipe Chico fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schumpeter's protests and gave Felipe Chico a yellow card for diving instead. If Omar Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Hori in the 22nd minute of play forced Schumpeter's goalkeeper Gilberto Birila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omar Hori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, Schumpeter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Ponce to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Tadeo Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Lain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Shantala to strike the kick off in the second half. Astor Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th minute Eugenio Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Lain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Chico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ovidio Lain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Lawrence in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Birila saved Schumpeter from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Schumpeter's Victorio Rodriguez got a free kick in the 65th minute. The long shot by Eulalio Fernanco in the 72nd minute really tested Ovidio Lain's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 73rd minute Victorio Rodriguez suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Samuel Enol hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Felipe Chico notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of La Isabella F.C's Ovidio Lain. Ovidio Lain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the match, La Isabella F.C's goalkeeper Ovidio Lain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Chico. The Schumpeter players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented La Isabella F.C from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
