Serafino Cordarrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PEÑALOCURA. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Marcones got free with Serafino Cordarrell in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 minutes of play, PEÑALOCURA's Basilio Arlo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Cordarrell was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Honorio Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Garci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Goizeder hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Basilio Arlo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the PEÑALOCURA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Arlo couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Basilio Arlo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Geronimo Guter charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Guter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes PEÑALOCURA got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Guter. A sloppy throw-in by Jimeno Illart in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PEÑALOCURA's Barros Requenes. Serafino Cordarrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Arlo in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Izotz in the 45th minute of play forced PEÑALOCURA's goalkeeper Ivan Garci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Arlo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serafino Cordarrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Arlo went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ivan Garci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Izotz in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Felipe Manny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PEÑALOCURA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Algarrobal the free kick. A collision led to PEÑALOCURA getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Felipe Manny hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Damian Izotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Algarrobal booed when PEÑALOCURA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Manny didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, PEÑALOCURA's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Bonadona came free, but Ivan Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Serafino Cordarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, PEÑALOCURA's Adrian Francis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafino Cordarrell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Adrian Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Serafino Cordarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PEÑALOCURA had won after a very even match.
