Despite this Ceferino Checa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ivan Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Sanduru in the 78th minute of play. If Basilio Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Checa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Benigno Naike. Teodosio Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded PEÑALOCURA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than velez sarsfield f.c..
