The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Honorio Bonadona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Palos having to make a save. Serafino Cordarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Tiniebra, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Damian Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Algarrobal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Izotz couldn't finish the play. Honorio Bonadona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hugo Palos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Bonadona came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hugo Palos could save by the left post. In the 15th minute of the match Lucio Lalla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafino Cordarrell skillfully saved the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Primitivo Tiniebra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Algarrobal's Serafino Cordarrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Fidel Belasko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Algarrobal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cipolletti FC the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Algarrobal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Belasko to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Errapel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mauricio Errapel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Serafino Cordarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipolletti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Tiniebra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Cordarrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Primitivo Tiniebra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serafino Cordarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Tiniebra, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Cipolletti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Izotz came free, but Hugo Palos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Victorino Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Izel struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Hugo Palos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Algarrobal. Algarrobal's Serafino Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Tiniebra in the 64th minute of play. Primitivo Tiniebra took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Cordarrell. Serafino Cordarrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Honorio Bonadona came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Algarrobal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Bonadona couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cipolletti FC's zone, Damian Izotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Palos came out of the goal and Damian Izotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lucio Lalla fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cipolletti FC's protests and gave Lucio Lalla a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Cipolletti FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Algarrobal:s goal. Jimeno Illart placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 78 played minutes Algarrobal got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Izel. Anselmo Izel's late challenge caught a Cipolletti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Izel helped the player get up and apologised. Anselmo Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Cipolletti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Izotz came free, but Hugo Palos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Izotz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Palos having to make a save. Anselmo Izel got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 95th minute, Anselmo Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Palos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Bonadona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cipolletti FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Algarrobal from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
