Sarmiento AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schumpeter the free kick. Amador Piorno kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Godofredo Weather who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schumpeter's Gilberto Birila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ildefonso Marz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Gilberto Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Weather in the 28th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Sarmiento AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Shantala came free, but Godfredo Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Shantala in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfredo Gumaro saved Sarmiento AFC from getting behind. The supporters of Schumpeter booed when Sarmiento AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Umbruso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Gumaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Chico in the 56th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Tadeo Shantala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Gumaro having to interfere. Godfredo Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Shantala in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Tadeo Shantala notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Sarmiento AFC's Godfredo Gumaro. Godfredo Gumaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felipe Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Gumaro having to interfere. Sarmiento AFC's Godfredo Gumaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Shantala in the 87th minute of play. After 92 played minutes Schumpeter got a freekick which was hit by Raul Casomiro. Schumpeter's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
