The throw-in from Jairo Casado in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PEÑALOCURA's Benigno Naike. Saverio Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ivan Garci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Silviano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Basilio Arlo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basilio Arlo made a kick off. Carmelo Silviano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Arlo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, PEÑALOCURA's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Tuste came free, but Ivan Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ibarlucea FC booed when PEÑALOCURA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barros Requenes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Basilio Arlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Ibarlucea FC's Saverio Martino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PEÑALOCURA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ibarlucea FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
