With a couple of smart ball manuevers Generoso Dominix in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Toribio saved Errecaborda from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Errecaborda's zone, Felix Fonda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Toribio came out of the goal and Felix Fonda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Toribio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Dominix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Evelio Tiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Dominix in the 27th minute of play forced Errecaborda's goalkeeper Silvio Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Erubiel Salvino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Errecaborda and the Buenos Aires Sur players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erubiel Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Lain having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Evelio Hulberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Lain was relentless in the 57th minute of the game.
