The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Delmar Millan struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Celestino Bras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desfachatados F.C. After a rather tough play, Horcones AFC's Rafael Gau got a free kick in the 11th minute. Delmar Millan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmar Millan scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celestino Bras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horcones AFC's Celestino Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Millan in the 20th minute of play. Rafael Gau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Prudencio Silban made a huge save. Desfachatados F.C's Natalio Garaona got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delmar Millan might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Bras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmar Millan ran back to his position shaking his head. Celestino Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Millan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Karmel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute Delmar Millan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Gau during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Desfachatados F.C booed when Horcones AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Gau didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Millan in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Bras saved Horcones AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Desfachatados F.C getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Natalio Garaona hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, Horcones AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Urtats to maneuver through the defense. Desfachatados F.C's Delmar Millan got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apolo Karmel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Celestino Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute, Baldomero Hechter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Celestino Bras managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Desfachatados F.C's Delmar Millan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Apolo Urtsin charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Urtsin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Desfachatados F.C's Apolo Urtsin got a free kick in the 57th minute. Geronimo Rafe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Prudencio Silban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Delmar Millan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celestino Bras. Delmar Millan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 65th match minute, Horcones AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Romano to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Bras acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Filiberto Oliviero. Agustin Playo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Prudencio Silban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Horcones AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rafael Gau hit a great ball. Delmar Millan in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celestino Bras, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
