After some careless play in the Olivia defense, Eleuterio Mingo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Florinio. The Olivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Florinio should have stopped the shot. With his leg Zacarias Florinio managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Tartagal's Eleuterio Mingo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 43 minutes, Benicio Bladi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivia and the Tartagal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute Maximino Quinito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Eleuterio Mingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 played minutes Olivia got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Bladi.
