Spectators: 7176 (Terracing: 5384, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) PANTHERS F.C's Celestino Argi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, PANTHERS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Rioja came free, but Cleto Mitxaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Rioja in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Mitxaut saved PANTHERS F.C from getting behind. Jacobo Rioja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cecilio Frantzes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Mitxaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Rioja in the 20th minute of play. PANTHERS F.C's Cleto Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Rioja in the 23rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Victoriano Joanes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ESCALANTE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PANTHERS F.C the free kick. In the 35th minute, Victoriano Joanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Celestino Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cleto Mitxaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Geronimo Orlandus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PANTHERS F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ESCALANTE the free kick. In the 46th minute, Geronimo Orlandus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleto Mitxaut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobo Rioja's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jacobo Rioja made the kick off in the second half. Cleto Mitxaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Rioja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes, Bonifacio Indalecio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ESCALANTE and the PANTHERS F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bonifacio Indalecio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Cleto Mitxaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Rioja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Jacobo Rioja fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cleto Mitxaut, passed just outside the right post. Cleto Mitxaut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Benvide in the 68th minute. ESCALANTE's Bernardino Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Frantzes in the 69th minute of play. When Cecilio Frantzes came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the PANTHERS F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Frantzes couldn't finish the play. When PANTHERS F.C's Celestino Argi in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ESCALANTE's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Cecilio Frantzes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PANTHERS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Frantzes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when ESCALANTE's Jacobo Rioja in the 79th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Cleto Mitxaut was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for PANTHERS F.C through an amazing save. Cleto Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Rioja in the 83rd minute of the match. Geronimo Orlandus was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to PANTHERS F.C getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Geronimo Orlandus hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Cecilio Frantzes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
