The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmiro Ostots made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Delmiro Ostots got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Gunners FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Baraquiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Atarrabi. Delmiro Ostots's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Pudes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. A very good chance for a goal. Lisandro Pudes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Suero in the 78th minute of the match. Delmiro Ostots succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 86th match minute, Gunners FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Silviano to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Edgardo Baraquiel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Delmiro Ostots recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Delmiro Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Delmiro Ostots came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Gunners FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Ostots couldn't finish the play. Susques's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
