The referee ignored González's protests and gave Abelardo Salamon a yellow card for diving instead. If Delmiro Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Santi.River's Erasmo Manni got a free kick in the 95th minute. The González fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Santi.River were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
