Spectators: 7184 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ruben Lapurdi got the match started through his kick off. Ruben Lapurdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Columbo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, González's Claudio Maidana tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Abelardo Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Lapurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19thth minute of the game Ruben Lapurdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cipolletti's Abel Loi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abel Loi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Salvino's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Conrado Bittor hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Honorio Salvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. González's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Salvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. González's Ruben Lapurdi got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match Roberto Rocendo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Loi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Horacio Iaki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliseo Arnau came out and tried to block the shot, but Horacio Iaki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. The supporters of González booed when Cipolletti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipolletti's Abel Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Salvino in the 36th minute of play. Cipolletti's Conrado Bittor got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Conrado Bittor off the ground. Conrado Bittor kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Abel Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Salvino in the 39th minute of play. Lisandro Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Eliseo Arnau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Danilo Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cipolletti's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Columbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Arnau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lisandro Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Arnau having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Mambru got free with Eliseo Arnau in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Mambru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honorio Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cipolletti's goalkeeper Abel Loi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliseo Arnau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Lisandro Mambru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseo Arnau having to make a save. When Honorio Salvino came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the González fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Salvino couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute Ruben Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Lapurdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Loi having to interfere. Bartolo Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Lapurdi in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Loi saved Cipolletti from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Maidana during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes González got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Maidana. After 84 played minutes, Cipolletti's Urbano Gomez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliseo Arnau came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cipolletti reached it. Eliseo Arnau came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Cipolletti's Lisandro Mambru. But to his dismay, Lisandro Mambru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Dalmacio Abeijon hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Cipolletti's Abel Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Lapurdi in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the González players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cipolletti.
