Spectators: 7177 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cirilo Aurre started the match with the kick off. Lisandro Pudes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Oliveiro in the 4th minute of the match. Amancio Veremundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Pudes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Saverio Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tomás Orzaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Atarrabi scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Orzaize, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lisandro Pudes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Oliveiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Susques's goalkeeper Lisandro Pudes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Veremundo. In the 23rd minute, Gerardo Firman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Frichoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lisandro Pudes. Susques's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Esmeralda booed when Susques was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Esmeralda's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Aurre came free, but Tomás Orzaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Telmo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomás Orzaize. Esmeralda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lisandro Pudes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Oliveiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 40 played minutes Susques got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Romildo. When Uriel Frichoso came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Esmeralda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Frichoso couldn't finish the play. Serafino Oliveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafino Oliveiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Benito Manilan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esmeralda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Susques the free kick. The referee gave Susques a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nestor Eudoxio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Esmeralda's Tomás Orzaize. 0-2. Tomás Orzaize was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Generoso Telmo. Esmeralda's Amancio Veremundo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Susques's zone, Serafino Oliveiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Pudes came out of the goal and Serafino Oliveiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Serafino Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esmeralda's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Oliveiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Pudes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nemesio Raulo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lisandro Pudes. Lisandro Pudes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Esmeralda getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Serafino Oliveiro hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Nestor Eudoxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Oliveiro in the 93rd minute of play forced Susques's goalkeeper Lisandro Pudes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Atarrabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Susques eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
