In the 29th minute Everardo Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Ellande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute Jeremias Silban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Baraquiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunners FC's Delmiro Ostots got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 49th match minute, Gunners FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Ostots to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmiro Ostots made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Visca Lepra got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Cordero. Everardo Tome blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermin Ellande having to make a save. In the 63rd minute of the match Ariel Chinto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fermin Ellande showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jeremias Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Baraquiel having to interfere. Visca Lepra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gunners FC the free kick. The supporters of Gunners FC booed when Visca Lepra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Garci didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dario Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Orlan took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgardo Baraquiel. Edgardo Baraquiel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Edgardo Baraquiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Joachim in the 87th minute of play. Edgardo Baraquiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Joachim in the 91st minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gunners FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Visca Lepra.
